Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Update Reverses Controversial Zombies Change

Treyarch has addressed player concerns regarding recent changes to Black Ops 6's Zombies mode. A significant reversal involves the Directed Mode zombie spawn delay, which was previously extended, causing frustration among players. This change has now been reverted, restoring the spawn delay to approximately 20 seconds after five looped rounds.

The January 9th update also includes:

  • Citadelle des Morts Fixes: Multiple bug fixes for the Citadelle des Morts map in Directed Mode, addressing issues with quest progression, guidance inaccuracies, and visual effects. A critical fix resolves crashes associated with the Void Sheath Augment and Elemental Swords.

  • Shadow Rift Buffs: The Shadow Rift Ammo Mod receives substantial buffs, increasing activation rates for normal, special, and elite enemies (with Big Game Augment). The cooldown timer has also been reduced by 25%.

  • Global Improvements: The update incorporates various fixes across the game, including addressing visual issues in the Events tab, audio problems with event milestone banners, and a visibility issue with Maya's "Joyride" Operator Skin. Multiplayer stability has also been enhanced.

Looking Ahead to Season 2:

More bug fixes and adjustments are slated for the January 28th Season 2 update. This includes addressing remaining issues like the Vermin double-attack bug. Until then, players can still pursue rewards in the Citadelle des Morts main quest before Season 1 Reloaded concludes.

Dead Light, Green Light LTM Adjustments:

The limited-time mode, Dead Light, Green Light, has received updates:

  • Added Map: Liberty Falls has been added to the map selection.
  • Increased Round Cap: The round cap before Exfil has been increased from 10 to 20. Further adjustments are planned based on community feedback.

Treyarch's commitment to player feedback is evident in these changes, highlighting their dedication to creating a fun and rewarding Zombies experience.
