Exciting news for Call of Duty Warzone fans: it seems the much-anticipated return of the beloved Verdansk map is finally on the horizon, with more details set to be revealed on March 10. Activision initially teased the comeback of Verdansk last August, pinning its return to a nebulous "spring 2025" timeframe. However, a recent visit to the Call of Duty shop has unveiled a countdown to "The Verdansk Collection," which is slated to end on March 10, 2025, hinting at a specific date for the map's revival. This development was first spotted by InsiderGaming.

Alongside the announcement, a simple, tri-color sketch has been revealed, depicting a familiar alpine scene complete with snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane. This imagery is a nostalgic nod to the original Warzone sandbox before it evolved into Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and was ultimately replaced by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way for players to experience Verdansk again is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

This news is particularly thrilling for those who were disheartened by the 2021 announcement that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back." The return of Verdansk promises to reignite the passion of Warzone enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting its comeback.

In other Call of Duty news, Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, bringing with it a plethora of new content. Players can enjoy five new Multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind, along with the return of the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, new weapons, and operators. Additionally, there's an exciting, albeit pricey, crossover event with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Meanwhile, Warzone has received less content than originally planned as the development team focuses on addressing critical issues. These include gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements to enhance the overall gaming experience.
