In Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics developed by Sunborn, a key question for players is whether the pity counter carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Your pity counter and pulls accumulate across consecutive limited-time banners. This means if you're close to pity on one limited banner, you can switch to another active limited banner and still benefit from your accumulated progress. For instance, during the global launch, pulls on either the Suomi or Ullrid banners contributed to the pity counter for both. This ensures consistent progress towards a guaranteed 50/50 chance on the next limited character. This system, confirmed by CN players, applies to all future limited banners. However, pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners.
While a hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, a soft pity begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until the guaranteed hard pity at pull 80.
This clarification should resolve any uncertainty regarding pity carryover in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For additional game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location information, check out The Escapist.
