Konami developers have provided an update on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Series producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations.
In a recent 4Gamer interview, Okamura stated that the team is intensely focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the remaining development time will be dedicated to refining details and enhancing overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to studio sources, the launch is now scheduled for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating updated gameplay mechanics and significantly improved visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also teased new features designed to elevate the gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. This over two-minute long video showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
