MapleStory Worlds is now available on mobile and PC in the Americas and Europe

MapleStory Worlds, the latest addition to the popular Nexon franchise, is now available in the Americas and Europe! This innovative title allows players to craft their own experiences using a range of tools and familiar MapleStory assets.

For MapleStory fans, this simultaneous release across North America and Europe is a welcome surprise. Following a soft launch in late 2024, MapleStory Worlds is officially launching on mobile and PC. Think of it as MapleStory's version of Roblox – a platform for creating and sharing side-scrolling adventures, from classic RPGs to shooting games and social hubs.

Cross-platform play between mobile and PC is a key feature. While Nexon highlights monetization opportunities, the true draw for many will likely be the chance to recreate beloved MapleStory moments with enhanced tools.

While intrigued, I remain somewhat cautious about MapleStory Worlds. The game's charming pixel art is undeniably appealing, yet widespread enthusiasm among long-time fans hasn't been overwhelmingly apparent.

Nevertheless, the promise of diverse experiences, ranging from platformers to zombie survival games, makes it a potentially compelling standalone platform. Its success will depend on player reception following its full launch.
