Marvel Rivals Gets Suit from PlayStation's Spider-Man 2 Later This Month

Marvel Rivals welcomes a surprising crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting addition on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. This sleek Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol makes it instantly recognizable. This collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a welcome surprise.

The Advanced Suit 2.0 is a unique addition to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable suits. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series is significant, and it will once again be donned by a Spider-Man voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and also lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will find the experience familiar and satisfying.

The inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 is another exciting addition to the content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.
