Yamada Heiando, a renowned lacquerware brand, has unveiled three exquisite Pokémon bowls inspired by the Chinese Zodiac. Discover these unique collectibles!
Yamada Heiando, a celebrated Japanese lacquerware maker, partnered with The Pokémon Company to create these stunning bowls. Employing traditional techniques, they've crafted bowls representing the Chinese Zodiac animals: Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon).
The company envisions these Pokémon as "gentle guardians," watching over families during mealtimes. Designed with babies and children in mind, Yamada Heiando hopes these bowls "become a vessel that allows you to watch and rejoice together in your child’s happy daily growth."
Each bowl also reflects a specific aspect of a child's development: Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans symbolizes growth, and Dragonite represents openness.
Initially released on January 17, 2025, these beautiful bowls sold out incredibly fast. A second sales period begins January 31st, offering another chance to purchase. Note: A purchase limit of two items per person applies.
Each set costs 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD). International shipping is available, with additional charges depending on factors like packaging size, peak season surcharges, and aviation fuel costs.
Yamada Heiando hints at future releases, promising "other Pokémon design zodiac bowls" in the pipeline. Don't miss the January 31st sale!
