Pokémon GO has announced a new Tour Pass launching February 24th, adding to the excitement of the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event. This event brings Gen 5 themed encounters, raids, and egg spawns.
The annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrates a different region each year, coinciding with Pokémon Day. Previous Tours focused on Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2024), introducing new shiny Pokémon and special variants.
The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Tour Pass will be available from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time. A free pass is available to all players. Earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs to progress through the Pass and unlock rewards like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire March 9th, 6 PM.
Alongside the free Tour Pass, a deluxe version will be available for $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 unlocked ranks) on the Pokémon GO webstore from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM. This unlocks all free and paid rewards, an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini, and the new Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket transforms a friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on the next trade, then resetting. Deluxe Pass rewards and the Lucky Trinket also expire March 9th, 6 PM.
The Unova Tour Pass enhances the upcoming event, which features the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, similar to last year's Necrozma. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via ticketed Masterwork Research.
