Get ready to step into the stadium! On Pokémon Day, The Pokémon Company revealed Pokémon Champions, a brand-new competitive Pokémon battling experience. This exciting announcement, part of a global Pokémon Presents stream celebrating the franchise's 27th anniversary, promises high-stakes matches reminiscent of the classic Pokémon Stadium series.

Developed by The Pokémon Works in collaboration with Game Freak, Pokémon Champions focuses squarely on the competitive battling aspect of the Pokémon universe. This streamlined multiplayer experience offers a dedicated platform for trainers to showcase their strategic prowess, regardless of their experience level. Expect familiar mechanics like Pokémon types, Abilities, and moves to create dynamic and strategic battles.

A key feature is integration with Pokémon Home, the cloud-based service connecting various Pokémon games. This allows you to import your favorite Pokémon from past adventures to build your competitive team. While not every Pokémon from Pokémon Home will be immediately available in Pokémon Champions, you’ll still have a vast roster of classic and newer Pokémon to choose from.
