Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited beta test! Learn more about how to participate and what this exciting new game has in store.

Project NET: Pre-Registration Now Open!

The highly anticipated mobile game, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3rd, 2025, as announced via the official Southeast Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account. Ready to join the action? Simply visit the official SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then need to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (Android)

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET is conducting a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," starting March 4th, 2025. This test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be available on Android devices only. Access is limited, and the test is non-monetized; all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also be available in Russia; details are available on the RU website. The developers are actively working on optimization for a wider global launch.

Here's the official schedule for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24th and 26th, 2025. Further confirmations may be sent throughout the testing period, the exact dates of which are yet to be announced.

Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy

First announced on December 27th, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its initial localized SEA test from January 9th to 16th, 2025, encompassing Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Building on the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (a popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016), and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5th, 2024), Project NET promises to deliver a familiar aesthetic and characters within a dynamic new third-person shooter experience. While a release date hasn't been confirmed, Project NET will be available on iOS and Android based on the devices used in the initial tests.
