The R16 is Alienware's 2024 desktop design, 40% smaller than its predecessors. The 240mm radiator for the liquid cooling system is mounted to the top fans. While some models skip the liquid cooling, we recommend opting for it due to its superior performance over the stock air cooling. Dell unveiled a new Area 51 chassis at CES 2025, but its design closely resembles the R16.
