Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2's Patch 4.0 nerfs are being rolled back after player backlash. A hotfix, Patch 4.1, will revert the most significant changes starting October 24th. The negative reception to Patch 4.0, which included nerfs to enemy spawns and other gameplay elements, led to negative reviews on Steam and prompted a swift response from Saber Interactive. Patch 4.1 Changes
Patch 4.1 will significantly reduce Extremis enemy spawn rates across all difficulties except Ruthless, where they'll be further decreased. Ruthless difficulty will also see a 10% increase in player armor and AI bots will receive a 30% damage buff against bosses.
