HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a classic dice and race game played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Currently, this version supports two players with two houses each, where each player controls eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home position before your opponent.
MOVEMENT OF PIECE
The player with the red house initiates the game. In the event of a win, the next game starts with the loser taking the red house. A piece can exit its house only when a die roll results in a 6, whereas pieces already on the track can move with any die outcome. Pieces travel along a track that spans 56 steps from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed either after successfully completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on a block occupied by the opponent's piece, sending the captured piece back home while removing the capturing piece from the board. The key to victory lies in capturing as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while minimizing your own captures. Note that a piece cannot capture an opponent's piece if the remaining die outcome cannot be utilized.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- A player can roll the dice consecutively twice or more if each roll results in a 6 (e.g., first roll = 6, second roll = 6).
- You must play the outcome of a die roll before rolling again, regardless of the result.
- For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, navigate to settings and enable the "DIRECT COUNT" option.
