Marvel Rivals Flaw Penalizes Low FPS Players

A Marvel Rivals glitch disproportionately impacts players with less powerful PCs, creating an unintended "pay-to-win" scenario. Lower frame rates (FPS) cause several heroes – including Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Venom, Magik, and Star-Lord – to move slower, jump shorter distances, and inflict reduced damage.

This isn't a deliberate game mechanic, but a significant bug stemming from the Delta Time parameter, a crucial element in game engine design that ensures consistent gameplay regardless of FPS. Fixing this will likely require considerable developer time and effort due to the complexity of Delta Time's role.

While other heroes may also be affected, the immediate solution is to optimize your in-game FPS, potentially by lowering graphical settings. Until a patch is released, upgrading PC components may unfortunately be the only way to fully mitigate this performance-based disadvantage.
