Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.
A key addition is DLSS 4 support, boosting frame rates for GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card users. This enhancement, available from January 30th, also improves performance on RTX 40 series cards by generating an extra frame with reduced memory consumption.
Furthermore, all GeForce RTX users can now choose between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail, and image stability.
This update also addresses several issues: in-game screen interference and crashes related to DLSS ray reconstruction have been resolved; the "Frame Creation" parameter now functions correctly after disabling resolution scaling; and problems with interacting with vendors, missing or low TV news audio, infrequent Johnny Silverhand passenger appearances, disappearing items when hiding NPCs, and game freezes during simultaneous photo mode and storage access have all been rectified. Photo mode enhancements include the ability to include Nibbles and Adam Smasher in shots even when V is submerged or airborne, and improved Adam Smasher facial expression adjustments.
